Multinational Coal Mining Company 2 Position
We are a multinational coal mining company and growing listed energy company in Indonesia that is looking for an experienced construction Project Manager and Coal Mining Project Head to help develop the coal mine and infrastructure assets of the Company.
1. Project Manager
Reporting to the President Director, the incoming Projects Manager will be responsible to:
• Develop/implement/maintain the Project Group s Vision, Mission and Strategy
• Achieve high standard safety behavior & outcomes for all Projects
• Lead the Project Group and develop the capability of team members
• Develop/implement/maintain Project Standard Operations Procedures
• Supervise individual Project Heads to ensure fully prepared Project Execution Plans in accordance with Standard Operations Procedures Supervise delivery of Projects in accordance with the agreed Project Execution Plan
• Supervise presentation of Projects progress to monthly Coal Project Meeting
• Prepare and deliver senior management Project presentations and budget applications to BOO as required
• Supervise recruitment & training of future Operations team
• Supervise to support development of Operational Standard Operations Procedures Coordinate with Operations Head on final requirements of successful handover to operations
• Consult & co-ordinate closely with key Departments (e.g. Technical Development and Services, Legal, Quality Safety and Environment etc)
• Support other Departments in areas of expertise
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor degree or higher in a relevant construction discipline e.g. Structural/Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering
• At least 20 years experience in the construction management of infrastructure projects:
• Truck haul roads
• Coal crushing and handling plants
• Site buildings, power supply, water supply etc
• Port facilities
• Direct coal mine construction management would be highly regarded
• Good skills in Microsoft Office software essential, and in specialist Project Management software well regarded
• Excellent oral and written English skills
• High integrity
• Strong leadership skills with an ability to build & develop teams
• Able to manage to tight deadlines & work under pressure
• Systematic, disciplined work ethic
• Strong people skills
• Ability to work with different cultures
• Prepared to work in Indonesia and travel extensively to Project sites throughout the country
2. Coal Mining Project Head
Reporting to Project Manager, the incoming Coal Mining Project Head will be responsible to:
• Lead the Project Team
• Deliver project objectives in a safe, timely & high quality manner.
• Deliver Project objectives within approved budget
• To ensure a smooth and efficient transition from Project to operational stage.
• Maintain up to date Project Schedule
• Ensure work is completed to the contracted high quality
• Delivering Project objectives on schedule and within approved budget
• Ensuring the Project time schedule is met given the remote location of the site
• Assume the role of Underground Operations Manager once the Project is completed
• Recruiting and training the future operations team
Qualifications & Skills:
